Phasmophobia is an investigative horror survival game from a first-person view. You can work alone or with a group online of up to four player to complete a contract of which they must identify the type of ghost haunting the house/area.
Players can use voice-chat to communicate with each other and the ghost in question. Phasmophobia uses Speech recognition to make this possible allowing certain pieces of equipment as well as the ghost to pick up and understand key words.
Completing objectives and gathering evidence to provide a pay-out. complete as much as possible to level up, unlock maps and difficulties and of course earn money.
4. Echo Generation
Echo Generation is a turn-based adventure about a gang of kids investigating supernatural occurrences while battling monsters and mechs to save their small town.
The game is set in the Summer of 1993 and you and your mates have to investigate the source of a mysterious crash.
The game has a planned release date of sometime during 2021. We’ll update you on this when we get it confirmed.
3. We Happy Few
We Happy Few is an action first person perspective that includes elements of stealth and survival. Players control one of three characters in the game’s three different acts. Each having their own skills and abilities, and their own reasons for escaping the village.
The game uses Procedural Generation to create the layouts of some parts of the game world at the start of each playthrough. Each act presents the player with a main story goal. With a series of main quests to follow. Side quests are also available.
Throughout the game, the player can collect melee weapons, items, food and drink and wealth. Items are used to craft various tools to help progress in the world.
A core element in We Happy Few is Joy, an addictive hallucinogenic drug used by most of the citizens of Wellington Wells. If the player opts to have their character use Joy they will see the town in a colourful joyful environment and will be able to walk through the town without attracting undue attention from its citizens.
Soma is a survival horror game. The player will encounter a number of creatures which each embody an aspect of the game’s themes. Some primarily utilizes elements of psychological horror instead of conventional scares found in most video games within the genre.
Throughout the game the player finds a large amount of clues from notes to audio tapes, which builds atmosphere and furthers the plot similar to most titles by Fictional Games, the player progresses through puzzle-solving, exploration and the use of Stealth.
1. Resident Evil Village
Resident Evil Village is set in a snowy explorable Eastern European village, described as “pulled straight from the Victorian Era” and much larger and immersive than its predecessor. Structures and buildings in the central village can be climbed and used to fight enemies.
The game’s primary enemies, the werewolf-like lycans, are not only agile and intelligent, but can wield weapons and attack in packs, forcing the player to rethink their strategy on whether to utilize sparse ammunition, use melee combat or simply run away.
